Writing Your Story

About 7 months ago I discovered Hubpages and it has been a wonderful source of information, anecdotes, personal stories and humour as I have read and enjoyed the work of others. I am really beginning to enjoy writing on hubpages myself and as I was thinking over the process just the other day I realised hubpages could be a wonderful legacy to leave for your family. You can write all those stories that come across your lifes journey as they happen and then when you are old or no longer here your family can read and be reminded of your personal story, they may even choose to publish some.
I have so far written about 23 hubs on various topics, some family, some work, some travel and some just incidentals or opinions. It is always good and helpful to get feedback on your work as the hubpages community does so well.
My last hub was a short one about the movie Red Dog which I took my step father to recently. You can read it at: jokylu.hubpages.com/Red Dog
People writing on hubpages include pictures and video clips and along with their story to enhance what is written.
The other benefit of writing for hubpages is that you can make an income from your work.
So if you enjoy making word pictures or telling your story and want to make a little extra income on the side, let me encourage you to sign up to hubpages, it is free and it is fun and it is also a great way to meet new friends.
